Developed and documented a digital twin of a Niryo Ned2 robotic cell in Festo CIROS,
including conveyor systems, sensors, sorting logic, and I/O mapping. Investigated OPC UA and TCP/IP

I'm Tobias Sjöblom, a Mechanical Engineering MSc student at Aalto University, majoring in Mechatronics. I have a hands-on engineering background in materials processing, mechanical design, additive manufacturing, automation, robotics, and industrial simulation .
I enjoy turning ideas into practical solutions through CAD/CAE, prototyping, simulation, testing, and programming . My experience includes developing digital twins and industrial simulations in Festo CIROS, modeling robotic cells with conveyors, sensors, sorting logic, and I/O mapping, as well as investigating OPC UA and TCP/IP communication for automation-oriented integration.
My bachelor's background in materials processing and practical experience in maintenance and workshop environments have given me a strong understanding of manufacturing, materials, safety, troubleshooting, and systematic problem-solving.
